Who can trade on CamperProff?
Only VAT-registered businesses trading in the course of business – typically motorhome and caravan dealers. CamperProff is a closed B2B exchange. Consumers have no access and no 14-day right of withdrawal.
A practical walkthrough for buyers and sellers. The platform is closed B2B. The moisture grid is in the product. VIES and settlement sit further down.

After approval you sign in and see documented vehicles. You bid in a closed auction of 1, 2 or 7 days in EUR that starts and ends on weekdays between 08:00 and 15:00 Danish time (not on Danish public holidays), or use buy-now when the seller has set a price. There is no public vehicle list. A bid is binding until a higher valid bid or the auction ends; if the auction ends below the reserve, the highest bid stays binding for up to 24 hours, until the seller accepts or declines it. You can also bid automatically up to a maximum, which binds you to any automatic bid up to that maximum.
You list the trade-in from a phone on the lot: VIN, weight, eight fixed photos and habitation equipment. The vehicle goes to a closed dealer auction. Listing is designed to take under 15 minutes.
The app has a 16-point moisture grid. Green is below 15%, yellow 15–20% and red above 20%. Yellow and red points require a photo; red points also require a written note. A vehicle can only be offered once the seller has either completed the grid, uploaded their own moisture report or stated why it is sold without a moisture test – that reason is shown to buyers.
VAT-registered businesses only. The VAT number is checked in the EU VIES register before bidding and buying are possible. Platform fees are shown in the app. On hammer, the seller's acceptance of a bid below the reserve, or buy-now the purchase agreement is concluded directly between seller and buyer; CamperProff operates the platform and is not a party. The purchase price is paid directly to the seller against the seller's invoice — not escrow and not a payment institution. Secure payment is coming soon.
A guaranteed-minimum-price track is built in the app, but it is not open. It is not a funded purchase offer.

Sign the company up on /registrer. Once the VAT number is confirmed in VIES, the company is approved automatically. Trading is not open yet, and signing up does not by itself give access to bid or sell.
The VAT number is checked in the EU VIES register before you can bid and buy. For Danish companies we also look the company up in the Danish CVR register as part of approval. If VIES cannot answer, approval waits until the number is confirmed.
No. Vehicles appear only in the app after sign-in. There is no Find-vehicles catalogue on the public site.
Yes. VAT-registered dealers from other EU countries can buy once their VAT number is confirmed in VIES. Bids, purchase agreements and settlement are in euro. CamperProff transport is offered only within Denmark, so you arrange transport abroad yourselves. The platform does not handle registration or taxes in your country.
An auction runs for 1, 2 or 7 days and starts and ends on weekdays between 08:00 and 15:00 Danish time. It never ends on a Danish public holiday. If a vehicle is submitted outside that window, it is shown as scheduled and opens for bids in the next window. If a bid arrives in the last 2 minutes, the auction is extended so that it ends 2 minutes after that bid.
The seller chooses an auction with or without a reserve. You can see whether the reserve has been met, but not the amount. If the auction ends below the reserve, the highest bid stays binding for up to 24 hours, until the seller accepts or declines it. If the seller declines or the deadline passes, there is no sale. Without a reserve, the highest bid wins.
You can set a maximum. The platform then bids only what is needed to lead, and never more than your maximum. The maximum is hidden from the seller and other buyers and binds you to any automatic bid up to that maximum. If the vehicle has a buy-now price, the maximum must be below it.
No. A bid is binding until a higher valid bid is placed or the auction ends. A maximum can be raised, but not lowered or withdrawn, while the auction is running.
If the seller has set a buy-now price, you can buy the vehicle immediately at that price. The purchase agreement is concluded at once and the auction ends. Buy-now disappears as soon as a bid reaches the reserve.
From the seller. On hammer, the seller's acceptance of a bid below the reserve, or buy-now, the purchase agreement is concluded directly between seller and buyer. CamperProff (ShopSolution ApS) operates the platform and is not a party to the trade. CamperProff invoices its own fees and, if you choose CamperProff transport, the transport as well. Once the trade is concluded, you and the seller see each other's company email and phone number on the trade page – the same details as in the purchase agreement.
The seller makes their invoice for the purchase price available on the trade page. You pay by bank transfer directly to the seller no later than 3 bank days after that. Bank days follow the Danish calendar, so weekends and Danish public holidays do not count. CamperProff does not receive the purchase price and is neither escrow nor a payment institution. CamperProff's own buyer commission and any CamperProff transport are invoiced separately.
Secure payment is coming soon. It runs through PayProff as escrow but is not open yet. Until then, every trade is paid directly to the seller. The payment method is fixed for each trade when the purchase agreement is concluded, so a trade with direct payment stays direct. The terms of secure payment will be published before it is used.
Without a guaranteed price, buyer and seller each pay 0.75% of the hammer price, capped at €350 per side, plus VAT. Access and listing are free. The purchase price and any transport come on top. You see your total cost before you bid.
Every vehicle has eight fixed photos, moisture and gas documentation with a documentation level, the seller's declaration on liens and encumbrances, and a list of the papers and keys that come with it. The moisture documentation is the seller's 16-point moisture grid, a moisture report or the seller's reason for selling without a moisture test. The listing shows which ownership and lien documents the seller provided and their date, with links to the free registers (Bilbogen, the Hungarian HBNY, the Polish tax-pledge register and the Lithuanian Regitra) so you can check again yourselves – ideally on the payment day. There is no physical inspection: the information comes from the seller.
It shows who documented moisture and gas. Moisture: 1 is a report from a DCU test centre, 2 from an external workshop, 3 from the seller's own workshop, 4 the seller's own 16-point measurement and 5 no moisture test. Moisture measurements and reports may be at most 90 days old when the vehicle is submitted. Gas: uploaded gas certificate, self-declared gas test or no gas test. The level is not a guarantee of the vehicle's condition.
Only when both pickup and delivery are in Denmark. Then you can choose CamperProff transport when you bid or buy, and the price is shown first. CamperProff invoices the transport to you directly, also with direct payment. Otherwise you arrange transport yourselves. The vehicle must be ready for pickup no later than 48 hours after the seller has confirmed receipt of payment; you agree the time directly with the seller.
When you have received the vehicle, you confirm receipt on the trade page. Within 5 days of receipt you can open a case about deviations there, with photos. The seller is notified and gets a deadline to reply, and everything is stored on the trade. With direct payment the report is documentation only: it does not change the trade or the payment.
With direct payment, buyer and seller resolve the dispute themselves under the purchase agreement. CamperProff can help put you in touch with each other, but makes no decision, takes no liability and never cancels or refunds a trade through the platform. The rules for disputes with secure payment will be published when secure payment opens.
Write via the contact form on /kontakt. A few lines about the company and your question are enough.
Listing happens on the website or in the CamperProff app, in Danish or English, and can also be done from a phone on the lot. It has six steps: basic data and weight, liens and encumbrances, photos and sales format, moisture, papers and keys, and habitation equipment. The vehicle can only be submitted once the mandatory information is complete.
Eight fixed photos: front, rear, left side, right side, living area, cab with odometer (on caravans the drawbar and jockey wheel), toilet/shower, and damage – or the roof if there is no damage. If the vehicle has neither toilet nor shower, that photo is dropped. You can add more photos.
The seller must make a choice: complete the 16-point moisture grid, upload your own moisture report, or state why the vehicle is sold without a moisture test. That reason is shown to buyers. Green is below 15%, yellow 15–20% and red above 20%; yellow and red points need a photo, red points also a note. Measurements and reports may be at most 90 days old.
It is not required to submit the vehicle, but it counts in the documentation level. An uploaded gas certificate with an issue date is shown as a gas certificate. A self-declared date of the last gas test is shown as self-declared, and with neither, the listing shows that there is no gas test.
Every seller uploads an ownership document from their country and a lookup in that country's lien register no more than 14 days old when the auction starts – for Danish sellers a bilbogsattest. You give a seller declaration on liens, retention of title, leasing, rights of retention, foreign liens and your right to sell, and you report any change before handover. If there is a lien, you state the holder and how it will be settled. The listing shows which documents you provided and their date. You also state which papers and keys come with the vehicle; the registration certificate (or the invoice and COC for new, unregistered stock) and at least one key are mandatory. The declaration forms part of the purchase agreement.
As the seller you invoice the vehicle to the buyer with the VAT treatment that applies to that specific vehicle. If the vehicle is a former rental vehicle, the VAT basis must be documented with a purchase invoice or a written explanation. CamperProff invoices its own fees plus Danish VAT and does not give VAT advice – ask your accountant if in doubt.
You choose an auction with or without a reserve. Buyers only see whether it has been met. You choose a duration of 1, 2 or 7 days and can set a buy-now price. Buy-now disappears as soon as a bid reaches the reserve.
You then have 24 hours to accept or decline the highest bid. If you accept, the purchase agreement is concluded with the highest bidder. If you decline or the deadline passes, there is no sale. CamperProff cannot make the decision for you.
Yes, as long as the auction has no bids. Once a bid has been placed, or while the auction awaits your answer on the highest bid, you cannot withdraw it. A sold vehicle cannot be cancelled.
After the trade you attach your invoice to the buyer on the trade page, where you also see the buyer's company email and phone number. The buyer pays the purchase price directly to you by bank transfer no later than 3 bank days after that; weekends and Danish public holidays do not count. Once the money has arrived, you confirm the payment on the trade page, and the vehicle must be ready for pickup no later than 48 hours later. CamperProff invoices its seller commission separately. Sellers from Poland and Lithuania can sell only with secure payment through PayProff, which is coming soon; sellers from Denmark and Hungary can also use direct payment.
Monday to Friday, except Danish public holidays and bank closing days: New Year's Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day and the Friday after it, Whit Monday, Constitution Day (5 June), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve. The 3-bank-day payment deadline skips these days, and an auction that would end on one of them ends on the next bank day at the same time instead.
Once the payment deadline has passed, you can register a payment default on the trade page. The buyer's bidding is paused, and the buyer can object. Once the default is registered and the trade is closed, you can offer the vehicle to the next-highest bidder at that bidder's own bid – the bidder is free to decline and has 24 hours to answer – or relist the vehicle. Any claim for damages is settled between you and the buyer.
The buyer can open a case with photos on the trade page within 5 days of receipt. You are notified and get a deadline to reply, and everything is stored on the trade. With direct payment you resolve the case directly with the buyer under the purchase agreement; CamperProff can help put you in touch, but makes no decision, takes no liability and does not cancel or refund the trade through the platform.
Yes. Pilot dealers get the first 6 months from pilot opening without buyer and seller commission. The waiver does not cover CamperProff's share of the uplift under a guaranteed price. The purchase price, transport and other trading costs are not covered. The specific pilot terms are agreed and recorded for your company before you trade.
A track in which CamperProff guarantees the seller a price for the accepted auction window. The track is built in the app but not open, and whether and when it opens has not been decided. When the guaranteed price opens, it is offered only with secure payment through PayProff. There is no fee for the guarantee; if the vehicle sells above the guaranteed price, CamperProff receives 30% of the uplift, capped at €700 per trade.
